Quick and Easy Installation

The Messenger installation is quick and easy. Simply click here to download the setup file and follow the instructions on your screen. The download itself is quick, because the setup file is very small. So even on a slow dial-up connection, we will have you sending messages within minutes.

Once setup starts, it's really a matter of accepting the defaults, and no restart is required when setup has completed . The first time that Messenger is run, you will be prompted for some user information like your username and password, after which you will receive 5 free SMS credits to test with.

As Easy as E-Mail

With the familiar look and feel of a modern day e-mail client, the BulkSMS Text Messenger really does make SMS as easy as e-mail. When composing, you do not need to worry about remembering a contacts telephone number, or the format of the number. You simply type the name of the persons or groups you wish to send to.

Messenger is intuitive, and you will be productive right from the start. There is no painful learning curve, you simply enter your contacts on the fly, type your message and click send.

Send to groups and individuals

Messenger can be used for personal and business communication - its just as easy either way. Messenger supports 10's of thousands of Contacts which can be organized into groups. When sending messages, it simply a matter of selecting the Groups or Individuals you want to send to, typing your message, then clicking the send button.

Additionally, Messenger is intelligent enough to never send to the same contact more than once, so even if the contact belongs to many groups, Messenger will ensure that the message is only sent once.

High Capacity

You can send a message to up to 20,000 individual contacts in a single submission. Even with large batches, the messages are delivered to the network in record time. Single and low numbers of messages are delivered so fast that it appears instantaneous. Large batches take a little longer, but even on a 56k dial-up connection, your 20,000 submission will take less than 2 minutes.

Receive Replies

When your contacts receive your message, they can reply as with a text message sent from a mobile phone. Replies are received directly to your Messenger Inbox, just as with e-mail. This makes Messenger the ideal tool for marketing campaigns and the collection of information. Please note that replies are network dependant and some networks (specifically in the US) do not support replies to messages.

Import from Outlook and external Files

With the click of a toolbar button, Messenger will import all your Outlook and Outlook Express contacts. The telephone numbers are automatically formatted for your region, so you can literally send to your contacts immediately after installation.

You can even import from external files - such as CSV (comma separated values) or Tab delimited files. The Messenger import feature allows you to quickly map your required fields, such as account balances and other information.

Messenger provides you with 5 custom fields per user. These fields can store additional information, which can then be used to send personalized messages. See below.

Personalized Messages

Personalized messages allows you to personalize a single message for multiple recipients. This makes it possible to send a unique message to each person in your distribution list, and it works very well with the import contact features. One common use is to send a message to each of your debtors, telling them how much they owe you and when the money is due. What's more, you can compose your message, select the recipients, then preview the message before sending. This way you know precisely what the contact will receive.

The composed message might look like this;
Dear {Display Name}, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance {60dayBalance} by {DueDate}

And the user(s) will receive the completed message;
Dear Mr. Smith, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance of $2376.99 by 01 December.
Dear Mrs. Jones, please pay your outstanding 60 day balance of $987.00 by 01 December.

Detailed Reporting

Every message that is sent is tracked through the network, and the message status is sent back to the Messenger. The reporting states are very granular, and you get confirmed acknowledgement when the message has been delivered to the mobile device.

When sending a single message to multiple recipients, you simple double click the message of interest to see the delivery status of each recipient.

Please note that not all networks in the US support status reports.

Remind Me Feature

This handy feature allows you to schedule a reminder for yourself at the click of a button.

This message is then delivered to your phone at the scheduled date and time.
